Xi Shi Quan
My third painting.
To make this retablo, I cut out the design I liked on a piece of plywood.
Then I painted a design on it.
Next, I purchased an unfinished shadow box at Michael's and painted a beautiful little Shih Tzu (like my Xi Shi Quan) on the inside of the box and trimmed the outside in a blue design.
I glued the back of the box to the plywood and then used small screws to secure it.
